Evgenia Troeva-Grigorova

Evgenia Troeva-Grigorova is a Research Associate in the Department for Traditional Bulgarian Culture of the Ethnographic Institute and Museum, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She received her M.A. in History with specialization in Ethnology at the Faculty of History, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and her Ph.D. in “Balkan and Slavic Folklore” at the Institute for Folklore, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Participation in many research projects, among which are: “Culture of Muslim Communities in Bulgaria,” “Minorities in Bulgarian School,” “Integration of Bulgarians and Gagauz into the Moldavian Society,” “Racial and Ethnic Minorities, Immigration, and the Role of Trade Unions in Combating Discrimination and Xenophobia, in Encouraging Participation, and in Securing Social Inclusion and Citizenship”, “Changing Interests and Identities in European Border Regions: EU Policies, Ethnic Minorities and Socio-political Transformation in Member States and Accession Countries”, “Cultural Memory and Religious Identity of Muslim Bulgarians”, “Minority Rights and Inter-ethnic/inter religious Relations in Municipalities with Diverse Population”.
