Bobi Badarevski

Bobi Badarevski (born September 9th, 1967) holds a MA in philosophy and gender studies. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of St. Kiril and Metodij, Institute of Philosophy, in Skopje. He works for a number of institutions in the areas of gender equality and human rights. His current position is Senior researcher in The Research Center in Gender Studies; Euro-Balkan Institute – Skopje, Macedonia. He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine Identities: Journal for Politics, Gender, and Culture (in English, Macedonian and Albanian). He was project coordinator of the following projects: Gender Perspective of Trafficking in Human Beings; Gender Perspective in Building (Implementation and Promotion) the National Strategy for Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings; Stereotyping: Representation of Women in Print Media in South East Europe. His present research interests and articles are the following: Trafficking of Women in the Context of Gender Perspective, Gender Methodology and Epistemology, Semiotics and Critical Discourse Analysis, Information Communication Technologies (ICT) and Gender Differences, and Philosophy of the Mind. He is the editor of the collection Rodova perspektiva na trgovijata so lugje, Evro-Balkan (2004).
