Lucía Solavagione has a BSC (with Honours) in Social and Cultural Studies and a Diploma in Gender and Development from the Open University, UK, as well as a degree in Translation and Interpretation from Barcelona Autonomous University, Spain. She is now doing a postgraduate degree in Immigration and Reception at the University of Barcelona. She is a member of the multidisciplinary team that produced the Newcomers in Horta-Guinardó Programme, which is now being implemented citywide by Barcelona City Council.
