Ge.M.IC. will focus on the intersections between gender, migration and religion. The tensions between religious migrant minorities and European cultures as well as the prospects of inter-religious dialogue constitute one of the most important areas of cultural activity that needs to be studied as a separate thematic. In particular this project will shed light on the ways in which tensions between feminist, religious and secular narratives and practices unfold and contextualize in a transnational framework.
