Georgeta Nazarska

Georgeta Nazarska is Associate Professor in Social and Cultural History, Cultural Heritage Department, State University of Library Studies and IT, Sofia. She holds an M.A. degree in History (1993) and Ph.D. in Modern and Contemporary Bulgarian History (1996), Sofia University. Fields of interest: political institutions, ethnic and religious minorities, social history, gender studies. Researcher in numerous projects, including: “Racial and Ethnic Minorities, Immigration and the Role of Trade Unions in Combating Discrimination and Xenophobia, in Encouraging Participation and in Securing Social Inclusion and Citizenship (RITU),” “Changing Interests and Identities in European Border Regions: EU Policies, Ethnic Minorities and Socio-political Transformation in Member States and Accession Countries (EUROREG)”.
